Hawzah News Agency- The event, organized on Saturday and Sunday, January 11th and 12th, 2025, was attended by students of the Tebyān School at the Islamic Centre of England, alongside their teachers and mentors. Participants engaged in a variety of activities filled with joy and festivity, the Islamic Center of England reported.
The program included Quran recitation, special nasheeds and songs for the blessed occasion of Imam Ali’s (AS) birth, film and animation screenings, and the reading of essays and poems about the life and birth of Imam Ali (pbuh).
A Quranic and religious quiz was one of the highlights of the celebration, with participants enthusiastically competing. Prizes and gifts were awarded to the top performers, as well as to children named Ali in honor of sharing their name with Imam Ali (pbuh).
A birthday cake adorned with the name of Imam Ali (pbuh) was a particularly exciting feature for the children and young Quran learners, providing them with a memorable moment captured in photographs.
The event also included the collective performance of congregational prayer by the Quran students and their teachers, adding a spiritual dimension to the joyous occasion.
